MINUTES of the Meeting held in the Council Chamber, Swale House, East Street, Sittingbourne on Tuesday 4 September 2012 from 9:30 am to 9:40 am.

Present: Councillor Duncan Dewar-Whalley (Chairman), Ben Stokes and Mike Whiting.

Officers Present: Philippa Davies, Donna Price and Mark Radford.

216	election of chairman RESOLVED: (1) That Councillor Duncan Dewar-Whalley be elected Chairman for this meeting.
217	declarations of interest No interests were declared.
218	exclusion of the press and public RESOLVED: (1) That under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

219	consideration of complaint no. sbc 02.12 The Sub-Committee determined that it accepted the investigator's report and believed that the matter was suitable for consideration by the Standards Determination Sub-Committee. RESOLVED: (1) That there was a case to answer in relation to Paragraphs 9 and 12(a) and that the matter be referred to a hearing of the Standards Determination Sub-Committee.
